Like many here in the Queen City, Becca Lawrence is a transplant Charlottean of about five years. She grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, where she earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice and her M.A. in Criminology. Her M.A. was focused on Domestic Violence, specifically the many effects domestic violence can have on children. After graduate school, she ventured to Charlotte to attend law school, where she graduated in the top of her class.
While in law school, Attorney Lawrence worked as a clerk and a paralegal in a local family law office. She also worked as an Honor’s Intern for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where she focused on combating gang crime, violent crime, and white-collar crime in the city of Charlotte. After law school, she practiced family law at that same firm before joining Rech Law, P.C.
Growing up, she was no stranger to the many facets of family law. Having experienced divorce and both the happiness and the hardships newly blended families bring first hand, she quickly developed a passion for family law early on in her legal career.
When Attorney Lawrence is not practicing law, who knows where you will find her! She enjoys traveling and exploring cities and towns she has never visited as well as going to museums and national parks across the United States. She also enjoys playing sports, running, and spending time with her two dogs, Little Sandy Angel Princess and McCarter Wayne. On Sunday mornings, you will find her volunteering in the nursery at church.
Attorney Lawrence strives to provide her clients not only with comprehensive legal advice but also with the compassion and understanding they often need during this time. She believes that building a connection with each and every client leads to a better understanding of each unique case. In turn, that understanding allows her to give the best possible legal advice with respect to that specific situation at hand. It is important to her that her clients fully understand their legal options as they navigate this season of their life.
