I am a North Carolina native, born and raised in Charlotte. I attended school in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system until my teenage years, when we moved to Waxhaw. I wrapped up my high school education here in Union County. My college journey began at the University of Asheville where I studied English. After a year in Asheville, I transferred, and graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in Strategic Communication and a Minor in Divinity. After college, I spent a year in Denver, Colorado to explore the Rocky Mountains and soak in the mile-high city. I then returned to North Carolina in the Fall of 2021.
I have always had an interest in law; I joined the debate and mock trial teams through each phase of my educational journey. My interest in family law is rooted in my love for justice and passion for people. I have learned from relationships with people walking a myriad of life paths that each of us have a unique approach to navigating difficult and deeply personal situations. Despite the personalities people have, we can all benefit from the support of professionals able to offer guidance through experience, directly address our fears of the unknown, and provide as a level of empathy and support necessary to see us through the tough times.
When I am out of the office, you can find me exploring with my beagle, Riv. I am an avid tea drinker, podcast listener, and corn hole player. I enjoy attending concerts, sporting events, watching comedy shows and searching for the world’s greatest chicken salad.
