A Rock Hill, South Carolina native, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Legal Studies from Winthrop University in 2019. After taking a year off to work in the legal field and build my resume, I moved to Raleigh, NC in 2020, and studied at Campbell University School of Law, earning my J.D. in 2024. I moved back home to Rock Hill after graduation to study for the bar exam. After taking the exam, I landed in Charlotte at Rech Law.

I found my love of the law by accident. As a child, I grew up watching Court TV with my mom, and always had an interest in law. Despite those interests, I began my undergraduate studies as an education major. During my first year of college, I realized I needed a job and on a whim, I accepted a part-time position at a personal injury law firm. I loved it so much that I changed my major to political science, enrolled in pre-law courses, and set my sights on a future career as an attorney the following semester.

After my undergraduate studies, I worked as a legal assistant with a family law firm while I decided what law school I would attend and where I wanted to live. In that role, I handled a lot of intake calls. As the first point of contact for potential clients, I found myself relating to them on a deeper level because of my own life experiences. It was during this time that I first considered a career in family law.

During law school, I spent my time focusing on all of my areas of interest to figure out where I fit in the best. Having already worked in personal injury and family law, I interned with a real estate and estate planning law firm while in Raleigh and I continued in this role throughout law school.

By this point, I had experience in enough areas, that I knew family law was the area of law that made me feel the most fulfilled. Having personal experience with divorced parents and family conflicts, I understand the magnitude of all situations that drive a person to seek legal representation in this area and my goal is always to provide clients with the same level of empathy, respect, and honesty that I would want for myself, or my own family.

In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing with my dog, Baby, a chihuahua-yorkie mix. I also love to travel, watch true crime documentaries and reality TV shows, make my own candles, and go to concerts.
