​I was raised in the sandhills of North Carolina, where I played tennis and ran cross country in high school. I started my post high school education at Wofford College, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. When I was in school, I became interested in mediation and the legal field and decided to pursue my degree in criminal justice and minor in political science. There, I found a passion in family law having come from a single parent household, and I understand that these matters should be handled with respect and dignity.

After living in Charlotte for over eight years, I have made some great friends and have had some great experiences. In my free time, I enjoy checking out new restaurants, going to sporting events, and checking out local music venues.
