About

When I was a little girl, I was always told I should be a lawyer someday, so I took that to heart. I grew up in a small town outside of Charlotte and went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I earned degrees in English and Political Science, as well as a minor in History.
I then continued my education at Campbell University School of Law, where I earned my juris doctor. I’ve also lived abroad in beautiful Dubrovnik, Croatia, where I studied international politics and diplomacy.
I always knew I was interested in practicing family law. In undergraduate, I volunteered with domestic violence shelters in the Triangle area and provided on-campus education about domestic violence and sexual assault. In law school, I assisted with family law cases in the Eastern part of North Carolina. I have experience working on a myriad of issues ranging from child custody modification to claims for alienation of affection.
Outside of work, I love exploring Charlotte! I am a lifelong learner and am always interested in doing fun workouts, reading book recommendations, and listening to live music. I like trying new things – from water coloring to poetry writing to cross-stitching.
I know that in family law, people are usually experiencing some of the toughest times in their lives. In my practice, I guide with empathy, patience, and a desire to do right by families. I want to help relieve some of the burden during these times and try to make the court process as painless as possible.
